Finding stuff you bought after Christmas last year.....

Ok, so do you ever shop the Christmas clearance stuff after you've already put up your decorations? Well, I did last year and so what I bought didn't end up with all my Christmas stuff. So I came across these yesterday.....I had totally forgotten that I had bought them, but I do love these stockings!

Did your mom do ceramics in the 70's? Well, mine did and she made all of these trees. She's since passed away and these are very precious to me now more than ever.

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

Man, it's been way too long since I've posted. Gotta get back in the habit. It's been feeling a lot more like winter here and Friday night we went to Light Up Downtown in North Wilkesboro. We had fun, but it was so so COLD.

A wedding....

My neice got married this past weekend. She was a beautiful bride! We all had a great time all dressed up and spending time with family. Here are my two cuties! This was after the wedding, Noah could only keep his shirt tucked in for so long!

PB & J Day

In the wake of all the news about Wachovia, I packed peanutbutter & jelly sandwiches for my husband and myself. Sad times for Winston-Salem.

Show and Tell Friday - Tablecloth mistreatment

I love vintage tablecloths and decided to show this one off on my wall. I have a pretty Christmas one that I put up also. Need to find one for fall.....
Anyway we just put it up there on the star hooks and the clips you'd use for showercurtains or curtains. It really does wonders for this wall and thought I'd share :)

It's Show & Tell Friday over at Kelli's There's No Place Like Home. Drop by for a visit and see who else is there for Show & Tell. It is always a great time and you never know who you will meet!

No love for the bird......

My family does not like the bird. My little one thinks it's scary, but he is warming up to it. My husband thinks it's something that should only be on a scary movie set. I informed him last night that it's hip halloween home decor and to get over it unless he wants to see my little birdie perched on his covers in the middle of the night.
